The Before and After School Program for the Families of Sudbury, Massachusetts
The Mission of Sudbury Extended Day is to provide the children of Sudbury’s working parents with nurturing before and after school programs that offer diverse opportunities for enrichment, exploration, and the development of social skills.
Sudbury Extended Day is an independent, not-for-profit school-age childcare program offering both before and after school care.
SED offers daily programs for children in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade, early release Wednesday coverage, and select school holiday and vacation week programs. The program follows the Sudbury Public Schools calendar. Our programs are located in the four elementary schools, the Curtis Middle School, and the First Parish Church of Sudbury (K/1 Noyes Students only).
SED programs focus on the social and emotional development of our students within the context of such activities as crafts, nature studies, art, reading, science, sports, field trips, free play and games. The opportunity to play outdoors is vital to our children’s healthy development and is encouraged daily, weather permitting.
